A-skip drill for youth track
Updated
A-skip is a beginner-level track drill. The A-skip teaches your legs the exact pattern good sprinting uses, just slower so you can learn it. Almost every track team in the world starts practice with this. It builds sprint mechanics, knee drive and rhythm. It needs no equipment, and can be done on a field. This page lists 5 numbered steps and 3 common mistakes with their fixes. The demonstration video is AI-generated.
